After the failure of the last two plantain suckers, I am trying again with two more in a slightly different location. In this area they will have a lot more direct sunlight and not be impacted by surrounding banana plants. The previous two started out well and then suddenly declined very rapidly, so we will have to watch these carefully and see what happens.
